Fall Planting for Now and Spring

Fall Planting for Now and Spring

Fall is a great time to reset my garden. The disappointment of bug damage and other unfortunate growing issues can be wiped away by growing fresh cool weather crops.

I'm excited to say, I just bought broccoli starts yesterday and are hardening them off for planting, and my first round of carrots and rutabaga seeds are planted. (Rutabagas are an experiment for me. Not even sure if my family will like them.)

Take a look at what you can grow in the fall. I have listed 5 harvest this fall plants and 5 perennial herbs to grow now for next year.

BONUS: The cool temperature can increase sugar production in the plants making a fall harvest sweeter to the taste!
